Kanosuke Artist Edition #004 Single Malt Japanese Whisky

The fourth instalment in Kanosuke Distillery’s Artist Edition series focuses on the element Gold (Gon), symbolising purity, nobility, harvest, and completion. For this release, artist Keiko Yuasa was invited to interpret Gold through her artwork, which captures the brilliance of the mineral with delicate brushstrokes. The whisky itself is crafted from non-peated malt distilled across all three of Kanosuke’s pot stills. It features a blend that includes fruity spirit from Spirits Still 2, enhanced by triple-distilled ex-Bourbon barrel-aged spirit and Islay barrel-aged spirit matured in Hioki, Kagoshima. This combination yields a lingering aftertaste reminiscent of the overlapping sea breezes of Islay and Hioki.
