Ardnamurchan

Ardnamurchan Distillery, owned by independent bottler Adelphi, is located on Scotland’s remote Ardnamurchan Peninsula and is considered one of the country’s most isolated distilleries. Construction began in 2013, with production commencing in 2014.

The distillery emphasizes sustainability, using hydro-electric power and a biomass boiler fueled by local timber to reduce its carbon footprint. Water for production is sourced from local springs and the Glenmore River.

Ardnamurchan produces both peated and unpeated West Highland single malt whiskies . The distillery utilizes traditional copper stills for distillation and employs both wooden and stainless steel washbacks for fermentation. The whiskies are known for reflecting their coastal environment .
