The Château de Laubade 35 Year Old 1989–2024 "Vintage Colombard Reserve" is an early landed single-cask Bas-Armagnac distilled in 1989 at the renowned Château de Laubade estate in Gascony, France, matured for 35 years in single hogshead cask #38536, and bottled in 2024 by Milroy's of Soho. Crafted exclusively from 100% Colombard grapes—a variety celebrated for its crisp acidity, floral complexity, and vibrant fruit structure—it underwent extended maturation in cool UK bonded cellars, yielding a pale, aromatic, and refined profile featuring delicate notes of white peach, honeysuckle, dried apricot, and polished oak on the nose, followed by a silky, lively palate of candied citrus, orchard fruit, and soft baking spices before settling into a long, crisp finish of lingering floral undertones and gentle wood tannin.
