The Whisky: Yamazaki Story of the Distillery 2025 Edition is Suntory's second limited-release single malt from the historic Yamazaki distillery near Kyoto, launched in May 2025 at 43% ABV as a no-age-statement bottling.

Flavour Profile: Crafted from a vatting of Yamazaki malts primarily in Mizunara and Spanish oak casks, it pours reddish amber with aromas of rich dried persimmon sweetness, clove spice, vanilla, and subtle chocolate. The full-bodied palate layers orange marmalade, red bean paste sweetness, and dried fruit complexity, while the smoky, spicy finish lingers with multi-layered chocolate and spice notes.
