This website is operated by The Central Whisky Co. Limited. Your use of the information, tools, and services provided on this website is predicated on your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here. By visiting our website or purchasing goods from us, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using our website. This website is hosted by Shopify Inc., which provides us with the e-commerce platform that enables us to sell our products and services to you.
These terms and conditions may be provided in more than one language; in the event of any inconsistency or conflict between versions, the English version shall prevail
1. Online Shop Terms & Conditions
By using this website, you confirm that you are of legal age to purchase and consume alcohol in your country of residence. Under the laws of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor under the age of 18 in the course of business. If you reside in Hong Kong, you must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
Our staff will contact you regarding all online orders to confirm product availability, pricing, and collection or delivery arrangements. Online payments will only be processed and accepted after our staff have confirmed your order. Once a payment has been accepted, the order cannot be cancelled, refunded, or exchanged by the customer, except to the extent that a refund or alternative remedy is mandated under Hong Kong law (including, where applicable, the Sale of Goods Ordinance (Cap. 26), the Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 71), and the Unconscionable Contracts Ordinance (Cap. 458)).
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to refuse any online payment or to cancel any online order at any time. In the event of an order cancellation by us, our liability will be strictly limited to refunding the exact amount you have already paid for the cancelled order.
2. General Conditions
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time. You understand that your content (excluding credit card information) may be transferred unencrypted and involve transmissions over various networks. Credit card and payment information is always encrypted during transmission over networks. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service without express written permission from us.
3. Accuracy, Completeness, and Timeliness of Information
We are not responsible if information made available on this website is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. The material on this website is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the material on this website is at your own risk.
4. Modifications to the Service and Prices
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
5. Collection and Storage of Products
If you select in‑store collection, you must collect your order within thirty (30) days from the date we notify you that the goods are ready. If you do not collect the goods within this period, we may send you a further notice specifying a final deadline for collection. If the goods remain uncollected after the final deadline passes, we reserve the right to charge reasonable storage or administrative fees and treat the order as abandoned. Forfeited orders will not be entitled to any refund, store credit, exchange, or alternative compensation. Consequently, we may resell, return to stock, or otherwise dispose of the goods without further liability to you, to the extent permitted by Hong Kong law. Nothing in this clause is intended to exclude, restrict, or limit any rights you may inherently hold under Hong Kong law regarding defective, damaged, misdescribed, or non‑conforming goods (including statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Ordinance (Cap. 26), the Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 71), and the Unconscionable Contracts Ordinance (Cap. 458)).
