Collection: Braeval

Braeval Distillery, located in Chapeltown, Banffshire, Scotland, is the highest distillery in Scotland at an altitude of 350 meters. Founded in 1973 as Braes of Glenlivet and renamed Braeval to avoid confusion with Glenlivet, it produces light, honeyed, and slightly spicy single malt whisky mainly used in premium blends like Chivas Regal. Braeval was mothballed from 2002 to 2008 but has since resumed full production. The distillery is known for automated modern facilities. It remains a key malt supplier in the Speyside region, recognized for its distinct floral and vanilla notes in the whisky it produces.
