Smoking Islay 11 Year Old Amontillado Cask Finish by Blackadder Blended Malt Scotch Whisky

Bottled at 46% ABV, this 11-year-old Islay release (750 bottles) features a blended Islay malt finished in an Amontillado sherry cask. Rather than heavy sweetness, the Amontillado cask finish layers a dry, oxidative, and nutty complexity—filled with toasted wood, dried citrus, and hazelnut—over intense Islay peat, smouldering smoke, and marine brine. Presented un-chillfiltered and without added coloring, it offers an approachable strength while retaining a rich, peated Islay character.
