Shindo Experimental 01 Single Malt Japanese Whisky

The Shindo distillery was established in 2021 by Shinozaki, a long-standing sake brewery, with the concept of "THE QUEST FOR THE ORIGINAL". The distillery focuses on innovative whisky creation, using proprietary yeast strains derived from its sake-brewing background and experimenting with various barrel types and aging processes to achieve unique, multilayered flavours.

Shindo Experimental 01 is the inaugural single malt Japanese whisky from the Shindo Distillery. Matured mainly in bourbon casks, but also Oloroso Sherry and Mizunara casks, tt features a rich, silky palate with notes of buttery caramel popcorn and fresh popcorn, offering a smooth experience that hints at redefining the future of Japanese craft spirits.
