The Whisky: Macallan Classic Cut 2024 is a limited annual release that showcases Macallan’s high‑strength style, combining bourbon American oak and sherry‑seasoned European oak casks and bottled at 52.4% ABV for intensity and texture. It is the eighth edition in the Classic Cut series, designed to be enjoyed neat for rich vanilla‑driven character and “cut” with water to reveal sweeter tropical and orchard‑fruit notes.

Flavour Profile: Opens with bright citrus peel and lemongrass over a core of creamy vanilla, orchard fruits (pear, green apple) and soft marzipan, leading into a rich, full‑bodied palate of vanilla custard, milk chocolate, sponge cake sweetness and candied apple, supported by dried tropical fruits and well‑integrated oak spice that builds into a gentle cinnamon warmth, before fading on a medium‑long finish of honeyed vanilla, caramel, oak spice and lingering fruit.
