Littlemill Over 30 Year Old 1989-2023 Artist #13 Hogshead #29 by LMDW Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The Littlemill distillery is Scotland’s first and oldest licensed distillery. Unclear when the it started distilling, one of its warehouses has a date stone carved with 1772, the same year housing for the excise officer was built. Last sold to Loch Lomond Distillers in 1994 after its former owner, Gibson International went bankrupt. The distillery was dismantled in 1997 and the remnants were destroyed in a fire in 2004. Remaining casks from Littlemill is now held by Loch Lomond Distillers. This expression, from LMDW’s Artist collection was matured over 30 years in a refill hogshead.
