Lagavulin’s rich peaty character has been tempered by the use of first-fill bourbon and refill casks. The result is a single malt with notes of pipe tobacco, smoked kippers and charred oak, softened by toffee, toasted coconut, freshly sliced vanilla pods and custard creams.
