Kilkerran 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The Kilkerran single malts are produced at the Glengyle distillery, which was founded to keep Campbeltown as a standalone whisky region. Run by the same crew that operates the Springbank distillery, the Kilkerran whisky is recognized for its complex, traditional Campbeltown character that includes a unique blend of maritime, lightly peated, and fruity notes. This 12 year old was vatted from whiskies that matured in bourbon casks (70%) and Sherry casks (30%) to produce a whisky that is creamy, peppery with lemon meringue, soft smoke, caramel, a faint minerality, and lingering maritime salt.
