Both the Kilchoman Machir Bay and Sanaig are part of the distillery's core range whiskies that are vatted from ex-bourbon and ex-Sherry casks. The Machir Bay has a high proportion of bourbon barrels, delivery a more zesty and flora character, while the Sanaig has a high portion of Oloroso Sherry casks, giving it a sweeter profile with notes of dried fruits and spices.
