Kanosuke Hioki Pot Still Japanese Whisky

The Hioki distillery, which is about a 10 minute drive from the Kanosuke distillery, has been in operation since 1883, renowned for its shochu production. In 2018, they expanded into gin, and by 2020, they started producing grain whisky. The Kanosuke Hioki Pot Still whisky is distilled at the Hioki distillery and then matured at the Kanosuke distillery. This is the brand's first pot still whisky. Made from unmalted and malted barley, and aged in ex-shochu American white oak and bourbon barrels.
