With a cask recipe that comprise 35% first-fill Europe oak Sherry casks, 15% first-fill American oak Sherry casks and 50% handpicked refill oak casks, this award-winning 18 year old from the Glengoyne distillery is a full-bodied, rounded and rich single malt with notes of red apple, melon and hot porridge topped with brown sugar on the nose, and walnuts, marzipan, warm spices and cocoa on the palate.
