Distilled in 2008 and bottled in August 2024, the whisky matured for 16 years entirely within a single Bourbon hogshead (Cask #305072), yielding a strict outturn of only 295 bottles in a 50cl format. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 53.7% ABV, allowing the distillery’s signature green, austere, and grassy character to shine through alongside crisp orchard fruits. The nose opens with crisp apples, pears, and a hint of cut grass balanced by buttery Rich Tea biscuits and vanilla bean sweetness, which develops on the palate into an intense, creamy mouthfeel of toffee apple, malty barley, vanilla custard, and gentle ginger spice, before concluding on a long, clean finish of oatmeal porridge, orchard fruits, and a lingering touch of mint.
