Matured in an ex-Monymusk rum cask and bottled at a cask strength of 57.5% ABV, this single cask Irish single malt spent 16 years aging in Scotland. Under Irish Whiskey Technical File regulations, whiskey aged outside the island of Ireland cannot carry an official age statement, so it is officially presented as NAS despite its 16 years of maturation. The Jamaican rum oak maturation layers vibrant tropical notes of ripe banana, roasted pineapple, brown sugar, and warm vanilla spice over the aged malt's rich orchard fruit and honeyed palate. Presented un-chillfiltered and without added colouring, it delivers a deeply textured profile driven by full rum cask maturation and high-ester Jamaican wood.
