Clairin 2021 Sajous Haitian Rum

North of Port-au-Prince, near Saint-Michel de l’Attalaye, Michel Sajous has built a distillery on the very spot where the old family establishment stood. He naturally cultivates several varieties of sugarcane, including the “cristalline,” on 30 hectares of land. He exclusively crafts his clairin from freshly pressed sugarcane juice. The result is a clairin with delicate aromas, lively and powerful citrus notes, and a vegetal finish.
