Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2013 Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Made from barley grown on Islay within 10 miles of the distillery, this whisky was matured in 75% first-fill bourbon barrels and 25% wine casks, layering notes of fruits, rich vanilla and oak spice.  Bruichladdich’s hallmark yellow fruits and honey abound on the palate, balanced nicely by subtle citrus and coastal minerality.
