The Rum:  An unadulterated single-cask rum distilled via traditional column stills and matured continentally in Scotland for 16 years. This cool climate prevented over-oaking while preserving a potent 64.7% cask strength ABV and its natural sugarcane sweetness. True to Blackadder's philosophy, it was bottled without added sugar, color, or chill-filtration, retaining natural oils for a viscous, chewy mouthfeel. Filtered only through a basic screen, it contains actual charred oak barrel sediment, offering a robust flavor profile of rich muscovado sugar, toasted coconut, ripe tropical fruits, and a floral touch, leading into a warm, long finish of dark chocolate, wood spice, and dry tobacco.
