Ardbeg Smokiverse Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Ardbeg Smokiverse is a limited-edition Islay single malt whisky released for Ardbeg Day 2025, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Ardbeg Committee. It is Ardbeg’s first whisky made using high-gravity mashing process, which reduces water and increases barley concentration in the mash tun, resulting in a sugar-rich wort that enhances fruity, ester-driven flavors. This innovative technique gives Smokiverse a distinct profile with tropical fruit notes, muscovado sugar sweetness, and Ardbeg’s signature smoky peat character. Matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 48.3% ABV, it offers aromas of smoked bubblegum, ripe barley, and toasted sourdough, with a creamy palate featuring tar, aniseed, cloves, and a smoky, earthy finish.
